Researcher in NEIKER Plant Production and Protection Department, in viticulture area. Leads and collaborates in projects aimed at optimizing and reducing the use of chemicals to maintain a good sanitary control in vineyard. Lines of study:
– Early detection of grapevine foliar fungal diseases, using different methodologies such as molecular, microscopic, cytometric and digital techniques.
– Alternatives to chemicals, through varietal resistance, natural plant defense elicitation and alternative products to fungicides.
– Resistance to fungicides assessment.
– Biodiversity in the vineyard according to sanitary management and landscape.
