Marcelo Coutinho

Marcelo Coutinho is a Veterinarian with a Master’s in Animal Science from UFMS and a Ph.D. in Sciences from ESALQ/USP, focused on meat quality and carcass evaluation. He holds a postgraduate degree in Agribusiness from PECEGE/USP and completed the Chiller Assessment training by Aus-Meat in Australia. Founder and Director of Brazil Beef Quality Ltda., he leads the development of technologies that combine science, artificial intelligence, and computer vision to standardize and classify beef carcasses, advancing production efficiency, animal welfare, and sustainability.
