All Speakers Speaker María Ángeles Prieto Fernández Position: Tenured Scientist Company: Headquarters in Santiago de Compostela of the Biological Mission of Galicia (MBG) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) Holds a Bachelor’s degree and a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Santiago de Compostela. She carried out research stays of more than three years in Germany and the United Kingdom. Since 2003, she has been a Tenured Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Her research focuses on sustainable soil management, the assessment of degradation processes, and the development and improvement of technologies for the recovery and utilization of degraded and metal-rich soils.
