María del Mar Alsina Marti

Dr. Maria del Mar Alsina is an Agricultural Engineer and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Lleida. She completed two postdoctoral stays at UC Davis, focusing on the physiological responses of vegetation to drought and the use of remote sensing for large-scale monitoring. She later worked at Gallo Winery, applying these techniques to irrigation management in vineyards. She is currently the viticulture research coordinator at IRTA.
