Marta Hernández Zapata

Agricultural engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and State Agricultural Engineer since 2010. With experience in plant health, foreign trade, agri-food quality and rural revitalization. She is currently Head of the Young Farmers and Generational Renewal Area at MAPA. She works on the design, coordination, development and implementation of measures to promote generational renewal in the agri-food sector, including those relating to access to land and the mobilization of underused agricultural land for young people and new entrants to the sector.
