Virginia Elena García Millán

Dr. Garcia-Millan’s professional interest lays in the protection of nature and the environment using remote sensing and GIS technology, to obtain quick and updated information about the status, the dynamics and the geospatial context of terrestrial ecosystems.
She is currently a researcher at the research group “Khaos”, affiliated to the Institute of Software Technology and Engineering (ITIS) of the University of Malaga (Spain), specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analysis. Her role is linked to research and innovation in the field of remote sensing of ecology and agriculture, developed through research and technology transfer projects.
