Operational Groups Block III: Circular Bioeconomy and Biotechnology in the agri-food value chain.
1.AGROCOMP: Production of agrocomposites through circular bioeconomy.
2. GO-BIORUMIOLI: Bioeconomic products derived from small ruminants.
3. MECA Project: Microalgae and Circular Economy for improving agricultural productivity.
4. ALGAEECOPACK: First prototype of packaging for fruits and vegetables made from algae. This project aims to valorize a waste product like algae, addressing the issue of the accumulation of beach washups on the Cádiz coast.
5. ECOINSECT: Circular economy system in the agrifood sector through the production of functional protein flours and eco-sustainable fertilizers from insects raised on horticultural and fruit by-products.
