Collaborative Innovation in a Water Emergency Context: What Have We Learned from the Drought?

This session will review lessons learned over the years during the worst drought recorded in Catalonia and parts of Spain, focusing on how accelerated innovation has been one of the levers to mitigate its effects. The Water Cluster is a non-profit organization promoting cooperative innovation and R&D. In this context, work with water-consuming sectors, new technologies to accelerate reuse and digitalization, and strategies implemented in other countries will be used to highlight ten key lessons from recent years.
