Laura Fernández López

Field Technician for the Jaencoop Group, the world’s second-largest olive oil producer. With a degree in environmental sciences, an energy engineering degree, and a certification in tasting from the University of Jaén, I began my career with the group in 2018 as a laboratory technician, performing oil analysis. In 2020, I began delving into the world of sustainability and field work, specializing as a technician. I work closely with the group’s farmers and olive oil mills, conducting pest control, monitoring plots, and implementing the Deoleo Sustainability Protocol. I also participate in projects such as Soil Olive, where Jaencoop is a collaborator, and Living Soil, where it is a partner.
