Dr. Plà-Aragonés is Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Lleida and a Senior Researcher at the Agrotecnio Center. His research includes optimization, machine learning and decision models applied in agriculture. He has been responsible for different research projects and contracts with public and private companies. He coordinates the EURO working group Operational Research in Agriculture and a CYTED network on Artificial Intelligence for sustainable Agriculture.
