Margarita Cobos Sánchez

Born in Almería (1980), she holds a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Almería and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering. In 2003, she entered the environmental labor market as an employee until 2006, when she began her entrepreneurial career, founding several companies in the energy and environmental sectors, where she served as CEO until 2019. In June of that same year, she joined the governing team of Almería City Council as Councilor for Environmental Sustainability, holding this position until June 2023, when she assumed her current responsibility as Secretary General of the Andalusian Agricultural and Fisheries Management Agency.
