Ruben is a chemical engineer specializing in olive by-product management and related industries. He is the co-founder and technical director of Smallops, an innovative startup focused on converting olive waste into biogas and nanoparticles for environmental use. He holds an MBA and a Master’s in Water Technology and Sustainable Management. Ruben was recognized on Forbes Europe’s 30 Under 30 in Manufacturing & Industry in 2022 and as one of Spain’s 24 Changemakers in 2024.
